Say you&#8217;re splitting your monthly spend into categories. If you list &#8220;food,&#8221; &#8220;dining out,&#8221; and &#8220;entertainment,&#8221; you&#8217;ve got a problem, a dinner-and-a-movie night could sit in two buckets at once. That&#8217;s an overlap, a Mutually Exclusive violation. Now say you list &#8220;rent,&#8221; &#8220;food,&#8221; and &#8220;transport&#8221; and stop there. Where does your phone bill go?
