How it works

Your rank, matched to real colleges.

No black box. The prediction is just your result, compared against official closing cutoffs, sorted by how close each one is. Here's every step.

  1. 01

    You enter your result

Pick your exam, then enter your rank, score, or percentile — whatever that exam actually reports. No login to see how many colleges you'd reach.

  2. 02

We match it to official closing cutoffs

Your number is compared against the latest published closing cutoffs in our dataset — the rank or score at which each college-branch last closed admissions.

  3. 03

Colleges are sorted into honest bands

Within reach (your result clears the latest closing), a near miss (just out of range), and a stretch (a real gap). We never colour a stretch as a sure thing.

  4. 04

    Every row carries its source

Each closing cutoff links to where it came from and when it was pulled. You can check our work on any single row — nothing is asserted without a citation.

What this is not

  • A quality ranking — we sort by how close a cutoff is to your result, not by NIRF, reputation, fees, or placements.
  • A guarantee — cutoffs shift 5–20% between cycles, and seat matrices change. Treat the list as a range.
  • A category-specific cutoff (yet) — most exams here show the general/open pool; your reserved-category cutoff is usually easier.
