Bangalore, 9 November 2020: Scaler by InterviewBit has appointed serial entrepreneur, Naren Krishna as the Business Unit Head of Career. In his new role, Naren will be responsible for managing the entire Career division with an aim to position Scaler as the preferred destination to recruit top engineering talent in the country. He will be working closely with the founders, the operations team and peoples team to strengthen the relationship with leading technology organisations across the globe.

Naren comes with extensive experience in the space of recruitment. He founded and scaled two unique HR-tech start-ups – Stockroom.io & Equiv.in. Through these organisations, Naren was able to collaborate with over 100 Fortune500 companies helping them with their hiring as well as in organising diversity and inclusion initiatives. He was also one of the founding members of the popular news-website, Inc42, playing a significant role in the set-up of initial operations of the company.

On this new career development, Naren Krishna said, “With almost six years of experience in the recruitment sector, I have first hand faced the ‘lack of skilled engineers’ problem. I have seen InterviewBit and more recently Scaler helping countless young professionals build sustainable career paths, and I feel they are onto something phenomenal. Working with them is, therefore a fantastic opportunity for me because I strongly feel that they have been able to build an impactful platform and I am looking forward to amplifying that further. One of the most critical challenges all the ed-tech players are facing today is translating the training outcomes into career outcomes. Providing our students with meaningful employment opportunities is a vital cog to complete the experience circle, ultimately making Scaler the perfect proposition for all the stakeholders. And that is what my focus will be.”

Scaler is an upskilling platform by InterviewBit that enables both students and working professionals to unlock their talent. Scaler’s offerings cater to tech-enthusiasts in university (Scaler Edge), young working professionals (Scaler Academy) and those looking to transform into future CTO’s and entrepreneurs (Scaler Plus). The programs vary from 6 months to 24 months and act as career accelerators.

Abhimanyu Saxena, Co-Founder, InterviewBit & Scaler said, “We are developing Scaler as an inclusive ecosystem of engineers and mentors to help talent scale and build the next generation of global tech leaders. India has such a vast and diverse talent pool, but they need quite a bit of grooming and channelling in the right direction. While we have a super strong skilling module in place, Naren will be able to help us scale the recruitment efforts to the next level. He is talented, driven, has the experience of how things work in a start-up environment, and we firmly believe that our synergies are aligned. Together, we are looking forward to making Scaler a more compelling proposition for all parties involved.”
