About the role - Copy Supervisor (Performance) at Scaler

We are looking for an experienced writer who is a competent team leader and mentor; someone who can inspire others and take our creativity to a new level as we continue to grow. We are looking for someone who has an insatiable hunger to outdo themselves every time they put pen to paper or tap their finger on the keyboard. Should be passionate about advertising, copywriting, and abhor grammatical inadequacies.

The ideal candidate will have a knack to write platform agnostic copies that are effective and provocative. They should be able to inspire dynamic ideas that connect with all types of audiences. Our ideal Copy Supervisor will be someone who leads by example and shall be responsible for all aspects of copy and content - ideation, writing, and execution. They will act as the SPOC for all creative needs and shall bridge gaps within and outside of the team.

Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a reputed creative agency or digital agency;
  • Understanding of, and past experience, of developing campaigns and creatives across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, with good knowledge of offline and print medium as well
  • Should be well-versed paid digital media and all its creative and content forms. Should be well-versed with Content Writing and Writing Copies in an SEO-friendly manner;
  • Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial venture in the education space is not compulsory but would be a big plus
  • A keen ability to understand audience behaviour, insights and should be able to change customer perceptions and behavior with compelling creative concepts
  • Experienced in creating compelling creatives that deliver results which are in line with brief requirements and delivered within committed timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Creative
    • Work closely with the Marketing Team (Product and Performance), Brand team, and Business team to effectively transform creative briefs into high performing concept-driven campaigns;
    • Supervise and mentor copywriters in the strategic development of messages and deliverables
    • Understand the creative brief and align yourself and the team in developing copies and concepts which achieve the stated goals and objectives of the brief;
    • Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs, establishing schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters and agencies;
    • Conduct and participate in brainstorming sessions with the team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives
    • Review and approve copy produced by the team, ensuring timely deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and challenges
    • Create compelling and innovative narratives and campaign messaging across digital media, video, mobile and audio platforms that connect brands to customers
    • Translate marketing strategies into creative narration, partnering with business/marketing teams to ensure that content meets brand and business objectives
    • Reviewing the competitor landscape and sharing insights and thoughts with the team;
    • Creating and maintaining a creative repository and consistently updating it;
    • Creating decks and presentations for creative reviews and utilising the learning from these to develop future communication;

    • Help establish proper protocol and processes by aiding in their implementation;
